What to Write on Your Swimmer

Before the swim meet (and ideally before you apply any sunscreen to your swimmer) please write your swimmer's last name and first initial (Wilcox, C) on their right back shoulder.

In order for everyone to remember, swimmers should also write their events on their arms or legs, etc. This helps the Ready Bench make sure swimmers get to the right event and lane. Here is the way that most swimmers do it:

E = Event #, H= Heat # and L = Lane assigned
the rest is the length of the event (yards) and the stroke.

FR = Freestyle, BK=Backstroke, FL/FLY= Butterfly and BR=Breaststroke.
