A few quick reminders...

**Please RVSP for the 5/9 Mock Meet by midnight tomorrow 5/6! This will let our coaches know who will be at the meet this weekend so they can put together heat sheets. To RSVP go to the Porpoises website, click "Swim Meets and Events" tab, then the green "Meet Entry" tab on the Mock Meet event. 

**Many parents expressed interested in Stroke and Turn Volunteering. Here is the info on upcoming trainings: 

• Stroke & Turn Judges are absolutely vital to running successful swim meets. With our brand new 10-lane pool this season, we’ll need more trained volunteers than ever before to help everything run smoothly.

Important Notes:

- For sessions offering multiple roles, Stroke & Turn training will take place during the first hour, with Starter and HMO training immediately following.

- You only need to attend one session per role, but you’re welcome to attend multiple sessions.

- We strongly encourage both new and returning volunteers to attend. These roles are critical to our meets!

- A league-mandated background check must be completed in order to be fully qualified as an official.

- Signing up in advance helps us share materials ahead of time and plan accordingly.

- Thank you so much for helping us build a strong officiating team this season. We truly couldn’t do it without you!
