Porpoise families,

We can’t believe we are more than halfway through the summer swim season! This is when things start picking up with Champs around the corner. Please take time to review these emails so you are informed!

This Week’s Meet:

This week we are back at home and will be hosting the South Hampton Hurricanes! If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of not being able to attend the meet Friday evening or Saturday morning, please e-mail Cocah Cam as soon as you can so we can make the needed adjustments. ([email protected]).

In order to start our meet promptly at 8AM and to give our computer operators time to print up timer sheets and last minute heat sheets, we are making a few time adjustments:

●Porpoises warm ups will begin at 6:40AM.

●Porpoises swimmer check in will conclude at 7:10AM.

●IF your swimmer needs to check in late, they will need to check in directly with a coach. Any late swimmers are at risk of being removed from relays.

Champs T-shirts

The Rivertown Riptides are responsible for our 2024 Champs t-shirts this year. If you did not pre-order your Champs t-shirt, the Riptides will have a limited supply of t-shirts available for sale at Champs for $25.

SENIORS!

Don’t forget to apply for our St John's Summer Swim League Scholarship. Applications are due by July 1^st and awardees will be announced at Champs. The application is available on our SJSSL SwimTopia website https://stjohnssummerswimleague.swimtopia.com/scholarship-program

Champs Philanthropy

The 2024 Champs Philanthropy has been chosen by the Shearwater Sharks this year and they have chosen Swim for MS. We will be sharing more information about this important philanthropy and how our team can help support this great cause!
